Is the add-on price still $92?

I am thinking of adding on some BWV points, and wondered if it is still $92/point for the sold-out resorts? Any idea when this may increase?

My guide said March 31 for non-members, and sometime in June or July for members.

Does anyone have the date when the add-on price for BCV, VWL, and BWV (directly from DVC) for members increases to $95 a point?

All I know is that I was trying to beat the increase for an add-on at BWV, and when I spoke with my guide last Thursday he told me the price for non-DVC members was going up as of April 1st and that DVC members wouldn't see the increase until June. Not sure of the exact date; too happy that I was able to do the add-on at the old price to pay close attention.

[And we'll be able to add-on at OKW at the old price, too, if we get ROFR'd on our resale.]

My home resort is SS and I am looking to add on. I called my guide tonight and he is out on the Magic, it the price for SS still $92.00 for members? I was also looking at resale as well. I just enjoyed our first DVC vacation at the beginning of March and went of DCL and stayed 4 days in OKW. Just realizing that we don't have enough points. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated from the membership.

Your guide should have left a number for another guide. Call that number/guide right away and tell them you called late Friday. Tell them that you were going to wait until your guide came back, but you heard there was going to be an increase so you decided to call back today. Maybe they will let you get the pricing before the 4/1 price increases. If that guide can get you in the system as interested before 4/1 you may luck out.

Smitty says he is a current DVC owner. So the 4/1 price increase does not affect him. Many have posted that the price increase to $95/point for BCV, VWL and BWV affects current DVC owners wanting to add-on via Disney starting this June (or July) -- we just don't seem to have the exact date yet.

These price increases really make me feel like we should have added on during the 15% off friends and family promotion that just ended recently.

I spoke to my guide this afternoon and here is the scoop. The present price for add ons is $98.00. Now that price is minus $8.00 per point which is applied to your down payment so on paper the price is $90.00 per point. New members who signed up after 4/1/06 are going to be paying $101.00 per point and he see's that increases will occur every year from now on.

I am going to add another 130 points and get the two free annual passes you can get 1 day passes for every 25 points you add, but I just don't want to chance the price increases in the future also taking the chance of having to get extra points at another resort when SSR sells out. This will give me 290 points per UY. Also the nice part of this deal is that the points you purchase are applied to your present contract and your present UY. I believe that this is very important as far as the 11 month, 7 month window on making reservations.

My guide told me that this is good until the end of May then all points for everyone is going up to the $101.00 price per point.

You mean that all "sold-out" resorts are selling for $90 per point to Members, correct?

I called my guide today to get a date for the increase for current members. BCV, BWV & VWL add on prices for current DVC members goes up to $95/point effective July 1.

That is very different than what we were just told last week when we toured SSR.

Our guide said that the current price to add on for existing members was $92.00 per point until the end of June or July at which time it would increase to $95.00. Vero Beach had a $5.00 incentive bringing the cost down to $87.00 per point to add on there.

Wonder what the correct prices are?
