Is the “5 days hotel and pass $99/person” a good deal?

Hi,

First timer here, family of 5, always wanted to visit Universal and just saw a Thrilling Fall getaway deal: $99 per person per night for on-site accommodation and base tickets

Is it a good deal or a fairly common deal or a “this happens every year” deal? We’re on a budget and so trying to figure out if it gets better than this

All I can say is pick your dates and length of stay and price out how much Endless summer resort would be for those dates and how much tickets would be on a discount site like UT. You're looking at $500/nt for 5 nights with the deal.*

5 day base tickets with volcano bay over a random weekend in Sept run $349/weekdays only is $334 (tax included). So it could be a good deal but read all the fine print. Make sure what type of room they are putting the 5 of you in. Endless summer has suites but those cost more than a std room. (I suspect the $99 deal is for a standard 2 queen room) Base tickets mean no park hopping and no Hogwarts Express.

Found the terms & conditions - it is based on a family of 4 so you would have to call to see if they could do something for you.

*Book by 8/3/22 for stays select nights 8/1/22-12/17/22. Promotional Vacation Package rates are tax inclusive and based on two (2) adults and two (2) children (ages 17 and under) with a 5-night stay at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites in a standard room with a 3-Park 5-Day Base Ticket (one park per day). Rates are higher on Friday, Saturday and holiday nights. Restrictions apply. Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations is registered with the State of Florida as a seller of travel. Registration number ST-24215.

I would take into consideration that your travel days would not be a full day possibly.
Why pay to arrive on a Sunday afternoon as a park day?
Will your travel plans guarantee early arrival and at the parks for early entry ? Also think having the ability to parkhop ( visit both parks in the same day is more beneficial for Universal and IoAdventure especially giving you the ability to take the train both ways !
When are your travel dates?
There is a reason they make this sound enticing but you really need to break it down to understand if it is a goood deal for your plans. Or a good deal for Universal ? Haha
You could plan an outstanding fun day for a family suite at Cabana Bay ( sleeps 5 very comfortably) and lots of fun exploring the resorts and CityWalk (mini golf next to the AMC ) and bowling upper level
Cabana Bay , Fun Arcade ! Swimmimng, lazy River, pool bars!
Great food court.
Just keep searching for a discounted day (Be a savvy traveler date) .
Good luck with the planning .

This deal is another way of saying $2000 for 5 days for a family of 4.

You can get 5 day tickets for $300 each x 4 = $1200. And a hotel for 4 nights for $400. Total = $1600. Very easily. This isn’t much of a deal.

Plus, you don’t need 5 days at Universal. Too much, unless you’re into relaxing at the pools.
