Is Test Track ever open?

Thanks goodness there were no problems when we were there last week. DS (4) would have been heart broken. The whole family rode and loved it. It was also fun when we walked into the GM display and found our truck, the Canyon, sitting there!!!

HEY.....I WORK FOR G.M. And to think I was going to offer to take you to the G.M. lounge and get front of the line passes with us.

My dad is a retiree and I'm trying to convince him to go with us once to get that perk. The ride does shut down more often than most other rides but people just don't understand the complexity of the ride and what the vehicles go through. I read a very interesting article about the ride, the engineering that went in to it and the amount of abuse each vehicle takes. It is amazing it runs as much as it does, GM or not.

BTW, I understand all the other car companies are so good they don't even need service departments because their cars don't break down.

We were pleasantly surprised to always find it in operation during our visit last fall. One evening, we even were able to walk right on.
