10+ year AT&T user finally thinking of making a switch to a new network. There's a phone I love that seems to be only on T-Mobile. I was wondering how the call quality and reception/coverage is. Any input would be appreciated.
) and blamed the issue on me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he refused to transfer me, telling me that the supervisor would only tell me the same thing he was telling me. In hindsight, I should have hung up on him since apparently it's okay for them to drop calls, or called back and reported his terrible customer service.
DH and I had them for 2.5 years when we first got married. We only switched to Metro PCS about 3 or 4 months ago and we have had far better call quality and service area with them then we ever had with TMobile- and we're in CA.

My parents called and when I answered they said, "Oh, you must be in the room," and I said, "No, we're out hiking!" We couldn't believe we had coverage out there. I have a great pic of my kids talking to their grandparents in a geyser basin. Thanks to all who responded. T-Mobile sounds like it could be good if you live in the right area but it's a shot in the dark. Thankfully they give you 30 days so I'll see how it goes for me personally.![]()

It all depends on where you live. I've had T-Mobile for 6 years in the Cleveland area and wouldn't switch. I don't remember the last time I've dropped a call, the call quality is good, have never had a billing problem, and have never gotten less than great customer service when I've upgraded. I just upgraded to a MyTouch 4g today in fact (for free too) and since we are an HSPA+ city my data speeds are great.
If your city has good T-Mobile coverage I think you'll be happy with them.
