Is Shrek 4-D any good?!

Just wondering what the shrek 4-D is all about and if you enjoyed it or not!!! Any infor would be very helpful! Thanks a bunch!

Shrek 4-D is pretty fun. I must say that the film has the sharpest 3-D image I've ever seen for a 3-D film. It must be a digital projection for sure!

We love Shrek. The story takes up where the movie ended. There is a preshow that explains what happened in the movie and the basic storyline of the attraction. I agree with Barry about how sharp the 3-D film is. There are other sensory things that go on during the film; you will feel, see, and hear the movie if that makes sense. I don't want to spoil it for you by telling you too much.

It's not my favorite, but I like it okay. I like the humor in it...seeing/hearingand peoples' reactions. That's the best part!!

I thought it was a good 3D show. My bottom was sore after riding on the donkey! My 4yo was pretty scared, but he doesn't like 3D shows (is ok on Tower of Terror, though).

I like the attraction itself, but do not care for the pre-show at all. Others love it, however.

I'm looking forward to seeing Shrek too. I'm intrigued about the "donkeyride" bit - is this something you do in the pre-show or are you sitting on the donkey for the show?

In the main show the seat moves and it feels like you are galloping along. And no saddle sores!

Four more votes for Shrek here. We love all of it. You need to let your "hair down" a little during the preshow (in other words, act like a big kid). The main show is great, particularly the "mouse parodies" .

It was definitely one of our favorites at US... We went on it numerous times! I agree with some of the other posters that the preshow can be a bit long -- especially if you've been on the ride a few times before, however. All in all, I would highly recommend it!!

Sorry, but I'll be the one who votes no.
I don't like it because then parks put in movie attractions instead of roller coasters. I've seen it twice and that's about all I'll need. The problem with a movie attraction, you see it a couple times, and then you've seen it. Same thing for Lighthouse 4D at BGT/BGW.

And the preshow drives me nuts. The torture, the prisoners, the torture, the prisoners. You will be tortured, you will be flogged. I'd rather the person who starts the show just be quiet. Instead they do all the threatening talk, tell a joke and expect everyone to laugh. Then you go see the movie and it has nothing to do with prison and torture.

And yes, I know USF has the Mummy coming, so my argument falls short here, but BGT/BGW hasn't put in a coaster for 5+ years. I want coasters. If I want to see a movie, I'll go to a movie theater.

EEEEEEK! You all like Shrek better than GBs?!?!?! How come I feel like you only say that to pick on me??? Anyway, ya'll are craaaaaaaazy!!!!!!!!! Of course, you saw 2 new guys in the show that weren't as good (one of them has been here more lately and has improved a LOT).

All on people's taste! I don't bother to see Shrek every trip. Haven't been on it in a few weeks or so....and I have been going to Universal once a week or more.

We really enjoyed it............ however, the pre-show is way tooooo long, and boring........... and the line was horrendous...... even with fotl........... but it is really fun, I'd do it again.
