My girlfriend wants to go to Sea World when we are in Orlando in May. Is it worth going for 70 dollars a day? To me it seems like an aquarium.

To me Seaworld is definitely worth it. We have vacations to Orlando where we did not even go to Disney, but we always spent at least two days at Seaworld. This is so much more than just an aquarium. The Blue Horizons show is out of this world. Believe has won all kind of awards. You can feed and touch dolphins and stingrays. If you can fit it in (and are over 21) then the Brewmaster Club is a great experience. I would also recommend that you do at least one Behind the Scenes Tour. As this is your first time, I would highly recommend the Saving a Species tour.

We just purchaed our tickets for $57 (childrens price) on-line at seaworld.com............ Plus it gives us a 2nd day for free.

I definitely think so-- yes, it's an aquarium. But-- there is three amusement park rides, plus the shows are fantastic. Clyde and Seamore's is a personal favorite. And the exhibits themselves are beautiful-- the shark tunnel, etc.
We have spent entire day there three different times.

We ordered the same tickets. Great Deal! We always visit Seaworld when were in Disney. Love everything about it. Favorites are feeding the dolphins and Dining with Shamu. Lynn

Yep. If you like marine life and animals it is very worth it. We love it. Don't miss the Shamu shows (get to the stadium early).

To go to Orlando and not see SW? It's like going too the beach @ not getting your feet wet!!!!
It's a must do.You will see things that you'll both talk about for years (take pics just incase)
Cann't count how many times ourselves,@ still enjoy every trip:thumbsup2

Yes it is worth it. The shows were great and so were the rides plus you can touch various sea life. The whole experience was well worth it for us.

My husband and I just visited Sea World for the first time last year. We loved it! I think the best thing about it is the slower pace. We love Disney, but this place just had a more relaxing feel to it- a nice break during your Disney vacation. The shows were fun, the exhibits cool, and if you are over 21, they have free beer. That was enough to keep my husband coming back every time we are in Orlando! :yay:

We just returned yesterday from Florida and visited Seaworld on Sunday. I was not overly excited about this park. I'm not sure if it's because we were spoiled with Discovery Cove the previous day. Also it was really crowded and very hot. At Discovery Cove we got to touch and feed the stingrays, got up close with the dolpins and snorkeled with all kinds of beautiful fish. It was not crowded at all and was a very relaxing, fun day. So when we went to Seaworld seeing the stingrays was not that thrilling or looking at the dolphins because we had a way better experience with them at Discovery Cove. We did enjoy the shows, though. Maybe if we did Seaworld first, we would have had a better time. It was just o.k. in my opinion.
