Going with 4 and 3 year old girls, who get scared easily (were originally scared watching Monster's inc, but got over it).

Is the Sci Fi diner too scarey for them? I think they'd like sitting in the cars, and it seems the prices are o.k. , but worried the 'clips' are scarey.

Any opinions??? Thanks!

I don't think so - the music may be intense in some spots but the clips are old movies & you can tell they are fake monsters. We find it more funny than anything - maybe you could prep your kids by renting an old movie like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes & see how your kids react to it. I think they would enjoy sitting in the old cars. Good luck!

Hi - We were there with our cildren - ages 1, 4 and 6 and fear was not even a factor. Most of the cars are pretty far away from the screen. The real fun is sitting in the cars. If you are concerned just ask to be seated in the back..Most people want to be near the screen so that request should be honored...

It's CAMPY, not scary!
I bet they won't even notice the clips, they will be caught up in sitting in these neat little cars, and eating too!
GO, enjoy!

Hi,
My daughter went to the SCI FI when she was 3 and was scared of everything (She was even scared of the World of Motion Ride).
My son has been going since he was 1. There was never a time that either of them were scared.

Hope this helps.

My kids were 4 and 6 the first time we went and they laughed at the silly movie clips. They are short clips, not long movies or anything. There are cute commercials between clips. They will love to sit in the cars, and I can safely say they probably won't be scared at all. We are planning a visit on our trip to WDW this weekend!

Not at all. We make it a point to go there everytime we go. My kids love it...10,8,5,3. We have been going since they were 7,4,18 mo...no one was every scared.

Another plus is it's very quit, everyone is watching the movie clips.
It's nice to have a break from all the noise.

I'm always a little embarrased to post this but:o my son, a very sensitive 6 year old did not like the movie clips. He made it thru his meal but towards the end he asked to be taken outside. He told us all the screaming ladies bothered him. Well the clips were very campy and there were a few scenes where screaming women were carried off by monsters/aliens. We were seated toward the back which helped, and DS did love the cars and his meal on a glow in the dark frisbee so we were glad we tried it but wouldn't go there again with him.
