Is "Sam Andreas Shakes" ever open???

In our last 3 trips - its never been open. DH really wants to try the dirt cup as he loves oreo! So is it one of those places that remains, but isn't in operation?

Also, while I have you reading this, anyone had German chocolate cake in the parks, recently?

Yes! In our previous 3 trips (2 during peak times), it had never been open (much to our chagrin), but it was open over spring break this year. Of course, after talking about it for 3 years, when it was finally open we weren't in the mood for a shake.

The only time I have ever seen it open was on our trip last year in November. I think it might have been a weekend day.

We ate there last month during spring break and before that last August. I think I also saw it open in November. They never seem to open before noon.

Saw it open last June.

I got a shake from there during July. Maybe it is only open limited hours because I got one to sit down and wait for the Play Parade in the late afternoon.
