If we only want to go on certain rides? Would it tell us the order to go on them?

We are very pre-planning, but only want to go on certain rides :

Buzz
TSMM
BTMRR
Splash
POTC
GRR
Screamin
Soarin
Matterhorn (both sides)

Would we have the ability to plug this information into ridemax to have them tell us which order to ride? Or does anyone have any other recommendations? We want to make sure that we are not stuck on a totally set schedule, but would like some insight on which rides are best done before others.

Thanks!

Yes, Ridemax will do that for you. I just picked the attractions we wanted to do and it made the schedule for us. I did put in the time for lunch and dinner and then it worked everything else out around those times. I truely loved Ridemax. It was great. It allowed us to do everything we wanted at a good pace. Yes - Ridemax allows you to enter what rides you want to go on, what time you want to spend at the park etc and then calculates your best order to do them in.

I would check out the threads on maximising Fastpass first, before buying RideMax though, because if you are at the park when the gates open, and use Fastpass well, you shouldn't really need to buy Ridemax to do those rides- you should be able to fit them all in easill.

Yes, that is exactly how ridemax is designed to work. You pick your rides, and then they tell you the order to schedule them in and when to pick up FPs and use them.

The day we arrive to Anaheim, we won't be at the park until 11:30am at the earliest, so we won't be able to maximize being there at opening. We will have all the rest of that day (Saturday) plus all day beginning at opening on Sunday (we do not have EE - I chose to get a 2-day park hopper). We are going during Spring Break, plus cheerleaders will be in the park.

If we end up on each ride we want to go on at least once, that part of our trip will be wonderful!

I think you will have no trouble going on just those atractions at least once each. One thing about ridemax is that it doesn't give ride plans for Sundays. It tells you to use a similar day to plan but I'm not sure how that works exactly because we always arrive late Sunday.

I think Ridemax should be evaluated as a stand alone....if using it will bring you planning pleasure(as it does with many) you should buy it for that. I don't think you need it for the function of getting the most out of your visit if you just follow our free advice.

If you are going with a indecisive group, an itinerary is a good thing… And Ridemax is good for that. I know from experience.
