I paid for a 90 month subscription to Ridemax a few days ago. I received a confirmation with the links on it to download the software. This links did not work. I have emailed them twice since then detailing the problem and have had no response. It was only $14.95 and I put it on my American Express so I can just call the charge company and dispute the charge but I am really bummed about this.

I ordered mine just a few days ago too (well maybe last week) and my download link worked fine. The program had some trouble accessing the internet and I had to have my husband adjust our firewall settings, but I haven't had any issues with it since then.

In a review I read about it the guy said he had to email them for questions and stuff about five times and he always heard back from them within 24 hours. Maybe the owners are on vacation ( at Disneyland doing research... lol!)

I wouldn't give up on it yet. I find the program so interesting. You change the time of day you want to take your break and the whole ride list can get all changed around due to that... it's fascinating to me... lol!

Send a new email... hopefully they are just gone away, but no, it's not a hoax.

I ordered it about six weeks ago and have no problems working with it. It has been fun to try different rides. I don't know how much we will be able to stick with the schedule with six kids but I have agood idea when to go on which rides with minimal wait times. I will let you know how it works for us when we return.

I have e-mailed RideMax dozens of times. In general, they are very responsive. If you end up not liking the software or having trouble, they will refund your money. So you can relax. They are reputable.

Try again to contact them. They will respond.

I ordered Ridemax three weeks ago and had no problems whatsoever. Using Ridemax, most rides were walk-ons and our longest wait was the last ride before the park closed - Peter Pan's Flight, 20 minute wait.

I love Ridemax!

The Guy who runs Ridemax is a DISer and he just posted from WDW - so that is probably why you haven't heard back from him

We ordered Ridemax recently and had no problems with it. I emailed them twice with some questions and got a response back the same or next day so maybe they are out of town or something like the other poster said. We didn't really stick to a schedule when we went last week but it was fun to play around with the rides and it gave me a good idea of what rides to hit and when. Since it was off season and during the week we didn't really have much wait anyway but I've heard it can be really helpful if you're using it during busier times. So, just keep trying, I'm sure they'll respond and get if figured out for you.....it's not a hoax.

Do you, by chance, you a MAC? It wont work on there if that is what you are using.

RideMax is fabulous. My mom couldn't believe how little we waited in line even though it was really busy in the parks. The longest wait we had was to buy our tickets!

The RideMax author moved to Orlando this summer, so posting from WDW is now typical.

kaygela,

Sorry for responding here publicly, but there appears to be an overly-aggressive "spam filter" in place with your email provider which is blocking our attempts to contact you, and your phone was busy when I tried to call earlier this morning.

I've sent you a Private Message here on the DIS boards with information that I'm hoping helps work around the problem you're seeing.

Regards,
Mark Winters

Thanks for getting in touch with me. I did get your email today when I got home from work. I don't understand how my phone could be busy since I have call waiting but stranger things have happened. I will try to change my settings and see if that helps. Everyone here raves about you and that is all I need to hear. I know disers would never steer me wrong (and I understand you are a diser as well).
Thanks.

SUCCESS!!! Mark, from Ridemax, sent me a new link using a different server and I was able to successfully download the program. The dates in December aren't posted yet, but I am very excited about using this program as soon as those dates become available. Thanks everyone for your responses and thanks again Mark! :cheer2:

Glad you got it working! I got it for our trip in November and have had fun playing with different senarios... we'll see what happens once we're there.
