Is required for all guests at checkin?

We are flying into MCO and going to stay with family for a week before Disney, then going back for another week after our Disney stay. I know the lead checkin ha to have their passport for checkin but do all the guests in the room need them? I was hoping to leave our passports with family for safe keeping while we are at the resort.

I believe to check in only one ID is needed but if anyone is over 21 and going to drink they'll need their passport to do so.

No all guests to not need I D to check in. But I personally would never leave the resort without my ID.

The lead person checking in might need it, I can't imagine that anyone else will. I'm not from outside the country, but I do online check in and in the last 10 or so trips, I haven't ever even gone to the lobby.

If you want to drink, you need Id on you that shows proof of 21 or over. There was a pretty upset customers at Epcot on our last trip because they did not realize that they needed to bring ID.

Since you reference passports I assume you are international & thus will be picking up your magic bands at the front desk? Not sure how that works, but you might have to show ID to activate tickets? I've gotten APs lately & had to show ID to activate, but don't know if tickets need ID too.

Actually, anyone over 18 that is listed on the reservation can check in for the entire group. Lead doesn't need to be there.

I've only ever had to present my Ontario drivers license upon check in.
