Is Philharmagic a ride??

No, it's basically a 3D movie -- you walk into an auditorium, take a seat, and enjoy the show. very cute and fun!

Without the 3-D glasses, it's a show. With the 3-D glasses, I'd call it a "ride."

We prefer to call it an attraction. We have an ongoing debate about what consititutes a ride vs. a show vs. an attraction. So far, for us, a ride has to move, which would make the Philharmagic not a ride.

while the seats don't move (making it not a ride) the show is 3-D. And w/o spoiling is more interactive than a show. So I would have to agree w/ maridisney that it is indeed an attraction. However, feeling at a certain part is kinda star tours-esque for some people so just a heads up on the motion sickness thing if thats where you were headed with this. (the part isn't very bad and i have only heard of it bothering a few people, plus its brief)

Philharmagic is a great attraction btw.

We had no idea what it was when we went in for the first time last January, but we loved it! I think we enjoyed it 3 times before we moved on. It's now one of my favorites!
