Is parking at BWV any easier ....

now that valet parking is not free? I thought that may be some of the valet parking area may have been re-allocated to self-parking to ease the parking problem.

I was there in Dec, there was a ton of Val locked off.. Since I never brought a car here before I cannot say less is blocked off. I can say I will never plan a stay at BW with a car again. If I am planning WOHP then I stay at SSR or BC. It was a long walk every time. There was not even a good drop off for the kid near the room. Could have been the location, but it drove us crazy.

We felt the same about staying at BWV and we were able to park in the lot on the left side of the drive as you go up the hill. I think part of it is valet. We were able to go in the lower doorway and used the elevator when going to the room ( standard view) but it still was not all that convenient. It is more convenient than parking in the other lot way in the back.

The self parking at BWV has always been a negative for us. Though it doesn't stop me from staying there or renting a car. We'll be there one week from today! I find that every resort has it's pros and cons and the parking at BWV is a con for us.

hey - us too!!!! time can't go fast enough

but i agree - every visit i talk to the multiple managers leading up to the general manger, and complete the survey noting the parking problems there (non-resort guests parking in the main lot - as can be seen by the passes from a different resort in their windshields, as well as the masses of ppl leaving after illuminations).
i do wish they would do year-round as they do during the F&WF: block the first entrance and have a guard checking room cards at the 2nd. between the 2 resorts (BWI and BWV), they would make a lot of their loyal guests very happy
