say you only get to go to Castaway Cay once...? Would you recommend the parasailing also what are some other must dos?

My top is to get the character photos but that shouldn't take too much time

Parasailing on CC was the best of all the excursions we've done on 3 cruises and trip to Hawaii. We absolutely loved it and it was gorgeous. I highly recommend it, but just be forewarned that it will be cancelled if it's too windy.

We spent some time on the beach, then parasailed around 11:00, had lunch and got back on the ship to enjoy a movie and an empty aqua duck, about as close to perfect a day as possible. Enjoy your cruise.

We had a ton of fun on CC w/o parasailing. I think the must do's are taking a bike ride (very scenic), hanging at the beach and doing the scuba diving (they hide Mickey stuff and such for you to find).

The first time, we just walked around and took a bicycle ride. It was very nice and relaxing. Second time, we packed the day with activities: Stingrays, Parasailing, Bottom Fishing, and Glass Boat. It didn't feel rushed at all, was a lot of fun, and we still had time for lunch, beach, shopping, Pelican Plunge etc. For our 3rd visit, we've booked a cabana and may also do the bottom fishing again for the whole family.

For a first visit, it seems very, very difficult to do anything wrong. The parasailing was so peaceful and the views incredible, but no one in our group thought it was a "must do". The overall feedback, I got, was that the bottom fishing was more exciting.

The first time we did parasailing and jet skiing, both were amazing and I would highly recommend both. With that being said, second time we only did jet skiing, which will continue to be a must do every time.

dh and our dd-in-law did the parasailing on a cruise we did last October. it was a first time for both of them. while they enjoyed it they both thought it was a bit costly for what they got. they did it tandem and it cost just over $100 each and they said they were doing actual parasailing for less than 5 minutes. said it was very quick and the rest of the time they spent on the boat getting other people suited up for their turn.
to me, not great value for the money.

On 2 of my 3 trips all the main water activities were cancelled because of high winds (which I think is pretty common) so I would just take the day to relax. I'm sure the parasailing would be amazing but so many other places you can do it, how often are you on a private Island which is part of your fare? I want the most of the money I paid. I would love to do the jet ski tour but it would take away from my Island time.

I would not recommend unless you have never done it. Having done it in other places, I think the cost vs. time in the sky is a bit ratio is low. The views can be nice and you can see the blue blue water. But you aren't really going to be taking incredible photos of the ship from the air or anything.

Does anyone know if the bicycles have a seat on the back for a toddler?
Yes they certainly do! I saw a family of them last time on the island. i didn't know they offered it until I saw them. It will likely be a must do on the next trip for us!

Thanks! We will have an almost 3 year old so I think a bike ride would be fun!
