I am planning a trip to WDW in Dec/04.I have seen many post that crowds are small this time of year.Is it possible to see most of the MK & Epcot allowing 1 day for each or would 3 days total for both be better.I am planning to go on EE days so I can get an extra hour since the parks close early. My family of 4 will be going(2 boys ages 9 & 7).

1) Two days can be done.
2) I would recommend
. . . one full day at MK, then park-hop to Epcot when MK closes
. . . one full day Epcot

NOTE: Obviously, three days would be better, but two is do-able

I've visited in early December every year since 1998 and I agree with TheRustyScupper. However, the MK day should be a weekday. December Saturdays in the MK are very often quite crowded!

Depends on what you mean by "see". If it means hit the highlights and major rides, then one day should cover it. However, if you mean truly "seeing", its very questionable. You probably can pull one day off at MK and MGM. However, I don't think its possible to do it at Epcot. I learned so much about World Showcase from reading these boards and did a lot more looking around when we were there for a week back in August. We only went to Epcot for a day, and I didn't get to finish hitting all the countries and doing the exploring I had planned.

I totally agree with KevinFSU--it all depends on what you want to accomplish at Epcot.

It also depends on if it is your childrens' first time. If they have never been to MK before, then I do not believe MK can be fully done in one day either. It would take alot of pre-planning to get a game plan for what attractions are a must to see.

Either way, have a good trip and I am sure the boys will have a ball--I find my children are just happy being there.

I think one day at MK is ok for Dec but if you want to go on *everything* you might have to hussle a bit so maybe pick out some things you can do if you *Only* have the time( like the shops or an attraction that is not great to you ) Epcot we have never done in one day, more like a day and 1/2 at a steady pace but we like almost everything there, do all the WS shops, ect. so less "nerd like " people might be able to do it faster!:)

My advice is to not worry about seeing it all and see all you can and still be happy. I would decide what is the most importain and see those things first and then see all you can, stopping when everyone is too tired to have fun any more. Being at Mk from entry untill closing AND then going to Epcot will be so tiring. We have many time stayed at MK untill about 3 or so and go back to the room and then after a couple hours rest, go to Epcot. WE love the WS at night. We think that MGM and AK are 1 day parks but we can never finish MK and Epcot in one day but we are not comando park people.

Thanks for the info.I was thinking of 1 day at each park and split a day between the MK and Epcot.I just wanted to see if a day was doable. This will be my 3rd trip and my sons 1st.I haven't been to the world in a while because I wanted to wait till my boys got older.

I don't think 365 days is enough to "see" MK!!!;)
