Does anyone know if the Once upon a time projection show is ending. It is not on the calendar for most of September or October or is it just not scheduled yet. We have a dessert party booked for 9/9 and was hoping to see that as well.

It's not scheduled because Disney hasn't set park hours, and "Once..." is scheduled based on closing time. It seems to be a hit, so they're not going to be getting rid of it. The only caveat is the MNSSHP for Halloween. "Once..." may be replaced on those nights with a different show, like Hallowishes or some new holiday show based on "Once...".

Once Upon at Time is not the same as Happily Ever After. Happily Ever After is the main fireworks/castle projection show which replaced Wishes. Once Upon a Time is a short castle projection show that replaced Celebrate the Magic.

OP, the schedule for OUAT has been coming out closer to the actual dates lately.

I was so used to CTM being right before Wishes. I just assumed with the names, OUAT would obviously be before HAE. But I guess that makes too much darn sense. Disney's strategy of spreading out the crowds worked though I guess. I never saw OUAT our two nights in MK.

Once Upon a Time = MK Castle Projection show (with a very few scattered fireworks.)
Happily Ever After = MK featured Fireworks show (and projection) show.

Sometimes the Projection show can run before the Fireworks show
and sometimes the Projection show can run after the Fireworks show
(and sometimes there can be more than one showing of the Projection show.)

Yeah, they made it VERY complicated. And to make it even more complicated, they aren't finalizing the schedules till very late. It's a royal PITA
