Is Old Key west being renovated?

We were just there first week in Feb. The pool was closed. And we passed a few buildings - sorry I don't remember what they were - that were kind of gated off. So we thought they were being renovated or something.

The room rehabs probably would have very little impact on your vacation, unless you wanted to stay in a particular building that may be down. They cycle through the buildings, so only 2 or 3 are down at any one time.

The main pool area being down, of course, will impact those staying near the hospitality area until that work is finished.

We were there until Feb 11th. Buildings 30-31 were closed off. There was outside work being done as well as inside. The main pool was closed. Activities were held at Turtle Pond pool.
