Is my FTP a good deal?

I booked the FTP before finding this board and now I'm curious if I got a deal or not. I booked 7 nights/8 days in Sept. for myself, DH, DS-3, and DD-10mo. We have 3 plane tickets from Omaha, NE and 2 RT Mears transfers. We're staying at ASMo and took the trip insurance because of the kids. The package includes UPH tickets for 8 days, but because of our flights, we can only use 6 days worth. Through Travelocity, our trip total was $1875. They seemed to think this would be the best price we'd ever get with airfare. What do you think?

What are you paying for the FTP?
How much are the airline tickets? What time are your flights?

You can only use 6 of the 8 days that are covered with the UPHP, but you're only paying for 4 days, the other 2 are free.

If you book with travelocity, you'll have to pay for all 6 days.

I think the FTP is a great package. Our next trip is in October.
Since were are only staying 3 nights, the package wouldn't work for us. I hope they have something like this next summer.

It depends how much airfare is alone. Mears is about $27 PP. Insurance is $35PP. Deduct those costs and figure it our from htere.


I booked ASMo for 7 nights without insurance, air or transfers for $916 for me, DH, DS 2.5 and DD 6mo.

Travelocity made it sound like the airfare was about $350 each. So that would be $1050 for air, $54 for Mears, $70 for insurance. That leaves $700 for ASMo with UPH tickets for 7 nights. Even if the air was $300 (which would've been the cheapest it could be), that would still be $850 for the ASMo. Is this good?

I would say that is a good deal.

I plugged in your stats - family of four, staying for 4 nights, with UPH into the WDW "fast package" vacation planning and it totaled $1,157.90

You are getting 7nights(I know 3 free) and 6 days usable UPH and AIRFARE for $1875. That means y'all are flying for less than $700 for the 3 of you.

Looks like a deal to me!
