Is MM with AP the same as a la carte MM?

Trying to decide if it is worth it for us to buy annual passes for 2016, and the Memory Maker cost is a big factor. We are taking 2 trips and always pre-purchase MM each time.

Can anyone who has recently used the MM/Photopass download benefit with the AP comment on if it is the same as buying the MM a la carte? I'm mostly concerned about the resolution of the photos, are they high-res, printable quality just like the "regular" MM?
