I don’t know if this is the right place to put this. To be honest couldn’t find anywhere else but then hey I am bit of a technophobe so forgive me.
As a technophobe. Looking at a cell phone all day with Genie this and Genie + that isn’t ideal. In fact I set my alarm for 7.00am when onsite to take advantage of booking this ‘magic’ only to find I forgot to put it on charge.
But then I think why, why am I waking up so early ? I’ve paid to get into the park and now I am paying to do something whilst in it. To really mug me off not only am I paying more but I am actually getting less.
The parks and rides are, whilst nostalgic old. So I say is it relevant anymore, is Mickey Mouse all that ? Are the generations that adored and loved Disney fading ? I really cannot see this mish mash of IP and straying from Walt’s ideology appealing to the next generation. They simply do not have the attention span. They simply do not have the love for the history. Current generation is more about tomorrow than what happened yesterday.
Disney need to wake up and smell the coffee. Their current demographic will fade away and there will be nothing to replace it. Will Mickey Mouse be relevant anymore ?
