Is Memory Maker worth it for 2 days?

First-time trip for most, but only spending 2 days (one MK, one AK). Kids aren't planning character meets and only one ADR at Crystal Palace.

Wondering if it is worth getting for a short stay?

If I don't get it, I can still choose to buy photos through Photo Pass, right?

It all depends if you want ride pics....for your fist time I would just for the family 1st ride pics.....enjoy!

Best way to do it. Save some money any way you can and get all the memories. Another option, probably not ideal for your first trip but leaving the ride you could just take pictures of the screen your photo is displayed on.

How do you purchase the one-day memory makers? Can you get them online or at the parks?

If you don't take full advantage of this service, you can also ask the PhotoPass cast member to take your pictures using your own phone or camera for free. But of course you'd have to pay for ride photos individually. I think it's around $15 each, unless the price has changed.

Whew, found an answer but it wasn't obvious. Looks like you can buy it via the My Disney Experience app. Also looks like there's no need to buy it in advance. You can review the photos in your account and if want to buy more than ~4 of them you're better off with the one-day package.

Thanks so much bryanb! I did not see it as a option when buying my tickets through WDW - it only offered the full deal. I haven't purchased them yet, so there isn't much on MDE for me yet.

The one day memory maker will not show up until you have at least one picture in your MDE. Then it should be available as an option. Enjoy your trip!
