Is Memorial Day Weekend a good weekend for a yardsale?

Do you think that Memorial Day Weekend is a good weekend for a Yard Sale? I was thinking Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

My mom's yardsale is Fri & Sat of Memorial Day weekend EVERY YEAR. I always thought that was odd days, but she does better on Friday than she does on Saturday. And she does AWESOME in sales mainly because she sells plants (perinanuals) & people return each year.

She lives on Cape Cod. So it's busy with tourists arriving & seasonal residents arriving.

I did it once then & it was terrible. The only people we got were the very early ones on the first morning. I would not do it again. Then again, for some reason they do not go over that bid here any time in the summer months.. I am really thinking it is the heat. If you do not hit a garage sale first thing in the am.. it gets too hot to do it by 11am.
