Is ME really worth it?

Howdy All!
Have a question: With the talk of a potential 2 hour or more wait before you get to your resort, is Magic Express really worth it? We're landing relatively late (7:35pm) on our first day and couldn't Imagine waiting that long. If I understand correctly, they will wait for the shuttle to fill first, and then drop off guests to as many as 4 resorts. Now if you're the first on the shuttle and last on the route, it could be quite long. Wish they would provide the routes the shuttles take or an estimate of the time it should take. Haven't seen any feedback from those who arrived today, but really hope to see something soon....less than 4 days to go!

If you do a search there were several postings about the route the busses would take. The resorts are broken up into zones. I am sure they will not having you waiting long on a bus.

One source quoted 45 to 75 minutes to your resort from the time the bus left the airport boarding platform. And, once the bus enters the loading platform, if there are lots of guests waiting, the bus is going to load quite fast.

Yes, some folks will prefer other modes of transportation, for example wanting a grocery stop so a town car is a good choice, or wanting to go off site every now and then so renting a car is a good choice. Also, Magical Express is primarily a checked baggage operation so you will be expected to "check" most of your baggage with ME if you happened to get a hold of it at Orlando Airport.

But, it is difficult to beat a service that gets you from airport to Disney for zero dollars.

Oh yes, a taste of Disney magic upon arrival at Orlando Airport has every right to include waiting in line which you will certainly be doing a lot more of.

So far I have only seen the two hour waits posted by brand new posters. I am waiting on some folks I know from prior postings before I make any decisions.
