Is McDonalds still at Showcase Plaza during F&WF?

OK, I know it's sinful to even mention McDonalds and F&WF in the same sentence, but for a 5 year old - its important. My plan is to get my kids McDonalds at Showcase Plaza then DH and I will graze through lunch at all the booths. However, looking at the F&WF brochure a friend brought back from a trip last week I don't see McDs on it. Have they been replaced by special vendors?

McDonald's is still there. It's a permanent building so nothing else goes in there during the festival. Although you'll probably get some looks like "now why the heck would someone be getting McDonald's during the Food and Wine Festival?" Just remember it's nuggets and fries - no burgers.

I would think Epcot is the perfect place to expand the palette of your children. Break them out of french fry syndrome.

Yep--it's still there, and I can vouch from personal experience that your plan is a good one. We did just that last week--fueled up the kiddies at McD's, then grazed (and sipped) around the world (in between kidcot stops).

I understand what you're saying, but hungry kids=cranky kids=bad F&WF experience. For the record, we only hit McD's twice in 15 days (once at AK, and the aforementioned once at Epcot) and my kids did try lots of different foods, including some of the F&WF offerings. It's a long walk from Canada around to Mexico, and had the kids been hungry with only unfamiliar, exotic foods as their options. . . well, we wouldn't have made it past the UK!
