Is Labor Day weekend really that crowded???

I am trying to plan my honeymoon and really want to go to WDW for part of it, but it falls over labor day weekend next year. I'm used to going in August right before that weekend and never have a problem with crowds....I've never been there during a holiday. Is it really that different?

My DW and I made a quick trip to WDW over Labor Day weekend and the parks were not that crowded. On Labor Day itself, the parks were not crowded at all. I was able to walk onto several rides with no or little wait and had a great time.

I don't know about the weekend, but that week (Tuesday and beyond) was the deadest I've ever seen the parks. In fact, it was kind of eerie, like being in school when the kids are gone. It rained a LOT and the parks closed REALLY early.
