Cirque raised ticket prices for La Nouba again. The front/center is now $112. So, is taking your family of four to a 90 minute Cirque worth almost $480?

I love La Nouba! It's one of the most memorable experiences I had during our visit! :thumbsup2

I lived in Upstate NY for 27 years, and now reside in Las Vegas. Sans Dralion and Verekai, I have seen EVERY Cirque production since their inception in 1982, and traveled to Montreal to do so. Some shows like Mystere I have seen 9 times or so. I am a Cirque fan, but I'd say absolutely it's worth the $112.

On another note, for most Cirque productions you really want to sit almost as far to the BACK as you can. Since most of their shows have aisle breaks between sections, things will be taking place above you, as well as behind you. Normally the cheapest seats are the best for a Cirque show. On another note, their theaters are normally small to moderately sized as well. Most times from the rear of the theater you ane no more than 40 feet from the stage anyway, so even children will have no problems seeing the show.

It is a wonderful show, have seen it three times there and am sure I will again. I will purchase, as I have in the past, Cat 2 seating, sec 203, 204 or 205, row EE. Front and Center is not desirable seating, IMO, for La Nouba, or any Cirque show for that matter. Level two seating is preferred by most, including me.

Absolutly not worth it. The show is a nice evening but not worth 112.00 Not Even 100.00. I think 75.00 is more fair. Just my 2 cents worth.

I guess living in Las Vegas I am happy to see ANY show under $120 per person. It's a great night out, and again, worth every penny.

Ouch! We haven't seen it yet and I hoped to go before the end of this month when AP holders can get 25% discount. DH thought the prices were already outrageous!

We saw it on our honeymoon in 2004, back when the Wishes program was still in existance (oh how we miss it). We went and LOVED it. It's not something we will see every year, but I think it's worth every penny.

I've seen it twice and would go again. It was wonderful!!! I believe the AP has discounts for it, and I think DVC does too.

I think you can get a good seat for less than $112, the theatre is set up so there really isn't a bad seat.

"Worth" is such a personal choice!!!

And there are sooo many - TOO many:confused3 - choices on a WDW vacation.

After we've maximized out Theme Parks experiences, then I'm willing to shell out some more $ for what I believe will be awesome evening of entertainment.

We have seen Cirque twice and would certainly pay to see it again but I agree with Dan. The cat. 1 seats are nice (we sat there both times) but the cat.2 seats are cheaper and you get a great view there (it's where we are going to sit next time). Enjoy the show! :thumbsup2

Dan is right!! We went in '01, sat in section 204, row CC. The seats were incredible. My ds is going for his birthday in Oct and I told him not to sit in those front/center seats. Way too much neck craning imho!! Cat 1 is good (that's what our seats are now classified as), but Cat 2, those EE or FF rows would be terrific also..in sections 203, 204, 205.

We have been 3 times so far & I know we will again. Each time, we sat in the sections that Dan outlined for you. Perfect viewing! I wouldn't want to sit anywhere else.

Cirque is really amazing & unlike anything else on the planet. I would travel to Vegas just to see the Cirque shows out there. I love the soundtracks to the shows. I listen to it all the time.

DW and I sat in the last row of Sec. 104, and we loved it! (Well, I liked it a little more, I think :) ) I think it's worth the money if you've never seen it before, it makes for a great evening!

We waited and saw La Nouba on our 5th visit to WDW. There is so much to see and do in and around WDW that sometimes it is hard to make choices.

Being from Montreal, (where it all started!) I agree, it is worth it. It is not your typical circus. There's so much happening everwhere that you HAVE to sit in cat 2 seats if you want an ensemble view.

I may not see it again for a couple of years but I definitely plan to see it again, like I said, so muc going on everywhere that I feel it is a show that can be easily seen a couple of times and still come out of it amazed at the incredible talent these performers have.

I love CdS too, and it is worth $112.
But as Dan and others have said, section 103 is not worth the difference in price they are asking.

The first time we went we were in the row D of section 103. The second time we were in seats 16-19 of row BB in section 203 (the chart is hard to read, but they are the four seats on the inside of row BB). The second time we had better seats. Not only could we see the show more comfortably, it was like having our own private family box seats!

Section 103 was enjoyable, but not worth a surcharge. But just be glad they haven't designated it "VIP Tapis Rouge" and charge $180 a seat, like they do with their traveling shows!

I have only seen La Nouba once and I was in that front and center section in the 4th row and I felt that I was too close. I believe they are charging extra for seats that really are not the best seats in the house.

The VIP seats (Tapis Rouge) for the two traveling shows (one of which is in Cincinnati right now) I went to in the last year both were $140. Which shows are they charging $180 for? Also it was possible last year to purchase the seats in the VIP section at the Tier one price without the Tapis Rouge package.
