Is June a busy time?

We will be at WDW this June and I need "ammunition" to help convince DH to buy into DVC. So, I want to be ready for all his scenarios

We usually visit WDW in early June. Is it hard to book at BWV or BCV in early June if its not your home resort?

Early June, say through about the first third, will be somewhat slower and not as hot. It's also a time when one should be able to find pretty good discounts at WDW. You should be able to get into BWV and BCV fairly easily most trips though doubtful for the standard view or BW view rooms. Regardless, one buying into DVC should be planning their visits at least 7 months and preferably 11 months out. Good luck.

We've gone in June several times now and I prefer it to July. It's too hot in July and the crowds are huge. June seems to be pleasant if you go in the first two weeks. Its still more crowded than when schools are in session, but it's probably less crowded than the rest of the summer. Our favorite time to go is the Monday after Thanksgiving thru that Friday. Everyone who comes Thanksgiving week goes home on Sunday and the parks are practically empty. (at least the couple of times we've gone) Plus, points are really low to use then!

My home resort is OKW and I reserved BWV at the 7 month window for june this year and got preferred view with no waitlist!

Just a little reminder regarding the parks in early June -

The "Gay Days" celebration is usually the first weekend in June, if I remember correctly. My ex-wife and daughter used to go the first week in June when school was out and it was our daughter's birthday.

If that event doesn't bother you, then you should have a great time. It is not too crowded and the weather is usually still tolerable.

I think it helps to know when Gay Days is only because there is such an increase of attendance on those days. If you want to avoid the long wait for rides, it helps to go to an alternate park on each day involved, otherwise it doesn't matter. As with any special event, the attendance can greatly increase an otherwise moderate season.
