Is July worse than June?

We are debating doing a long weekend in either June or July. We will probably do more resort time than park time. Is there that much of a difference between the two months? I am assuming they will both be very hot and crowded. Some of the crowd calendars seem to differ a little bit between the two months.

There is more resort availablilty in July but I am not sure if that can be used as an indicator. We have never gone in the summer so I am confused. Our dates would be in the middle of either month.

July is hotter and more crowded, particularly in the first half of the month.

I would guess the middle of June might be better. My theory is that schools in some parts of the country, including the Northeast, don't get out until the end of June. While in July, basically every school in the U.S. would be out of school.

Go in June. July and August are the busiest times to go! Personally, I'd try for either the first or second week in June.

In my experience, there are way more tour groups in July.

I would go in June.

Thanks all! Due to work schedules the earliest we could go is June 18th. I feel like we are right on the cusp of schools letting out at least here in the Northeast.
