Is John Kerry looking older?

Is it just me or does John Kerry look older since the start of the election? I'm thinking the stress & heavy travel schedule from the election is starting to show in his face. Not trying to talk about Kerry, but he just looks a little older to me now?

The only time I thought he looked really old and tired was the last debate. I actually thought he was looking well rested the last few times I've seen him on TV...looks like he got a haircut and his face just looks more relaxed or something (maybe he's getting lots of sleep on the planes)

Actually, I thought the opposite when I saw him on TV tonight. I thought that he must have done the botox that I've heard rumored because he looks different/ better to me--either that or I'm getting moe used to his "look".

I haven't really noticed, but there's been a number of articles in recent months about how past presidents have aged during their term of office and that would also apply to just about any high pressure elected office. Bill Clinton recently commented on how he really enjoyed the most rest he's had in years due to his surgery.

I think politics is a life of always having to watch your back and that can age anyone.

Bill Clinton aged SO much in office as did Georgie W....its amazing to see how stress can make you age so quickly in 4 years! Not a job I would ever want!

He has the type of face that looks "hard" to me anyway. I would think something amiss if he didn't look older during the campaign. Those candidates practically kill themselves with their schedules and it can't be good.
The person I see as changing is John Edwards. He doesn't look so preppy and smiley anymore. And when he does do the famous smile, it looks forced.

I'll be extremely glad when our votes are cast and it's all over.

Maybe he hasn't had time to go for his Botox. :teeth:

My thoughts exactly. His appearance has changed a couple of times during this election cycle.

well, he did start the botox treatments shortly after the beginning of the run, lately I suppose he would have a hard time scheduling it.

I agree that the office has aged the last two presidents. I would expect that to happen too. Does anyone think Clinton actually looks younger since he had his heart surgery?? I think that is kind of weird, but maybe it's the weight loss.

I think all the candidates age from the grind, the pressure. I can't imagine doing that, even for a few days, much less months, even years. And the Presidency ages the best of them, a LOT.

I do think that Clinton does look well in his past few public appearances. As for Kerry, I think it could be just not having time in the schedule for the treatments and I do think they are transitory at best. Appearance wise, I don't really care. And in actuality, I think they both look great, given the grind they are under.
