Is it worth it for my family?

I am curious where the dining plan would be worth it for my family? We got it on our last two trips but that was years ago.

This year we are only going to be at WDW for 2 1/2 days as we are also going to Universal. As it is a short trip, we aren't dining at nice restaurants much. We have a reservation at HS at Mama's for the Fantasmic package on 1/2 and then on 1/3 we have two reservations 4:15 at Crystal Place and a late dinner reservation at BOG at 9:15 (one of which we might get rid of if we can get a better time) the rest of the time we were just going to do counter service to maximize time riding rides.

We will have 4 adults (my teens eat like adults!) and one nine year old. What do you think? Would the plan be worth it?

Your ticker says you are staying offsite? If that is correct you cannot get the DP. It is only an option for people with onsite packages.
I don't think the DDP is the value it used to be. You have to be very careful to use every credit and use it on the more expensive items to get your money's worth.
