Is it worth getting a Passporter if I already have TGM?

I'm already signed up with TGM (so much info!), so would the Passporter still be worth buying? What if I bought a 2005 Passporter, maybe I only need the planning pages and not the old 2005 info?

I used both. TGM and the Disboards are great for information. The Passporter is a great spot for storing all the essential stuff -- tickets, receipts, etc. If I were to do it again, I would buy the cheapest Passporter I could ( I think there was a sale on older ones not long ago-- they went for practically nothing) and use it for storage. TGM definitely has more up-to-date, accurate information IMHO.

I've used TGM twice and love it. However, I used passporter once...it just wasn't my cup of tea, however, others really like it..

Personally, I prefer TGM. I have the Passporter, but I'm not really sure what to do with it? If all you need is an organizer, you could get one for a less than the cost of a Passporter. Why would I want to take the Passporter with me when it has all those pages about other resort hotels that I'm not even staying in, for example...?

Great! That's what I was thinking, old Passporter for holding stuff, plus I understand the maps are better than most.

The Passporter maps are great! I had forgotten about that when I posted. That's another good reason to order an older book. I would think you could add any new rides (like Expedition Everest) to your old map by hand. Good luck!

Where can I get an older Passporter for cheap? I check their website and couldn't find any for last year. Ebay has them but w/shipping it'll be around $16. How old is TOO old for one of these books? TIA

I used both. I used TGM at home to plan my trip. I brought the Passporter on our trip so we'd have information at our fingertips when we needed it. We *used* our Passporter--I mean we wrote in in, highlighed it, etc. I had all of our ressie info. in there, and we filed away all of the maps, brochures, etc. we wanted to save in the Passporter each evening.

You can purchase a 2004 Passporter from www.passporter.com for only 1 dollar or if you purchase 5 for 3 dollars. I found the link on www.mouseforless.com that takes you directly to this deal. The 2004 is slightly out of date but updates can be printed off the passporter website. If you are not sure about the Passporter here is an opportunity to get your feet wet.
I purchased 10 of the 2004 Passporters and one of the 2006 Passporter. I got so many because I purchased them for late Christmas presents and to give to people when they ask me about going to Disney.
