Is it warm enough to swim the first week in November?

I've never been during late Fall or Winter. Planning my next trip with my DGDs during Jersey Week and want to know if I should considered PHPs to include a water park.

We have gone to WDW the second week of Nov. 3 times, and we were able to do the water parks, on each of those visits. the resort pools are heated and my DS's swam in the evenings too.

We went during Jersey week in 2002 and were able to swim every day. We didn't go to the waterparks (our kids were too little) we just swam at our resort pool. Our first day it was in the mid 70's and got warmer every day. The day we went home it was 90. The day we went to AK, there were lots of people getting off at Blizzard Beach. Unless they get an early cold snap, it should be fine for swimming and the water parks.

I don't want to disappoint you, but have to let you know that I was there the last week of Oct., 2001, and it was VERY cold every day, such that we had no desire to swim at all; in fact we left our sweatshirts on all day (except for 1st day). It was a record-breaking cold snap, so it was VERY unusual, but believe me, it happens. Just be prepared for this possibility. We weren't mentally prepared for this, so we were a little saddened. (BTW, our jeans and sweatshirts were REALLY gross by the end of the week! LOL  ).

You get cool weather all the time. We have gone to the waterparks in Nov, Dec and Jan - as well as Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug and Oct. (We haven't gone at all in Feb or Sept, so we don't know about those months).

My husband and son always hit the pool and we always schedule at least one water park during the cooler months.

LOL! To me, it's chilly after the last day in September here!! I won't even go near a pool until May! :)

We go every year on Jersey week and it is HOT!!!! Yes you can definitely swim.

In 2003 we were in WDW 10/30-11/8. It was hot and humid. Mid to upper 80's everyday!! It was a warm one!! The nights were alittle cool.

Dec-Feb is really iffy weather wise. Swimming all year doesn't usually happen. People have reported 40 degree temps in January-- too cold for me to swim:eek: !
