Is it warm enough to sit on St Pete Beach now?

Going at the end of the week. What is the weather like for the beach? Is the gulf warm this time of year? I am used to 65 degrees in the North East. Thanks

Sure. We got back a week ago and were in Indian shores (1/2 hour north of St. Pete). There were a 2 cool days out of 7 and we swam in the gulf for 5 of those days.

We normally go the last week of April and usually get one cool day.

I'm still looking at my suntan in the mirror and getting dapressed that we couldn't stay longer. We stayed a total of 12 days and it still wasn't enough for me.

The ocean temp should be about 75 there now. The air temp this weekend, is a biit cool but it looks like you can expect low to mid 80s as the week progresses.
