Have been waiting for Disney to offer a lower price for the September cruises and so far it hasn't happened. What cruise line would you recommend for 4 adults that don't drink?? Thanks!
If you do... think early September for slightly better weather. Otherwise, late September offers reposition opportunities that can take you down the California coast.
I like HAL/Princess with a cruise itinery that includes Glacier Bay. Tracy Arm can be done with a popular side trip on some itineries.
I get emails everyday from RCI, NCL, Celebrity. There's last minute discounts out there. I don't think you would have a problem finding something. Since it's 4 adults why limit yourself to Disney?

right now we've got a lot of cruises planned way in advance, but normally we book just 1-2 months before. it's totally possible. many lines will also drop prices to fill the ship a month or two before.
i'd recommend royal caribbean. imho, they are the closest experience to disney. DH and I don't drink, and we've always found plenty to do on royal. on NCL most of the activities seemed to revolve around alcohol so we often found ourselves bored, but that was an older, smaller ship, so on their new one like the Getaway there is likely more to do for non-drinkers. We've also sailed on celebrity but found it's geared toward an older crowd - not much night life, music from the 1940s-60s - so if this is for your 40th birthday, as your signature suggests, i'd instead recommend royal or maybe a newer NCL ship. if you go with royal, i'd recommend oasis/allure, or independence/freedom - indy and freedom are about the size of disney dream and fantasy.
Princess is my favorite non-Disney Cruise line, but if you want to sail out of one of the Central Florida homeports, I would second the recommendation for Royal Caribbean. You might look at sailings out of Tampa, in addition to Port Canaveral to see if the itineraries or costs are more in line with what you're looking for.
Leaving on September 11th is the 8 night cruise on the Carnival Sunshine to Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Turk. It's just over $2000 for a balcony cabin for 2 people - either midship or aft near the elevators. So it would be around $4100 for the 4 of you to sail in 2 balcony cabins (deck 6 - a few dollars more for deck 8). It's a great itinerary, the ship has most of the new bells and whistles from Carnival and has been recently updated.
