Is it too late for tickets to MNSSHP? 9/15?

Still not sure if we want to go or not...or if it's worth the big bucks. This will be our first trip to WDW and we did not have any plans that Friday night..

I know I need to make up my mind because we leave soon. I don't even know if the tickets are sold out or up until what date you can get a discount for buying them ahead of time. I would hate to buy the tickets and then miss them in the mail because we'd already be at WDW..KWIM?

It would be me, dh, dd5 and ds3. We would be able to stay up for the whole party if we went because we would still be on Calif. time.. I just don't want to miss something really great, but I don't want to be disappointed either. We've been saving for a long time to be able to make this trip.

Bumping because I'd also like to know this.

I just talked to my mom again today about it. She's sort of interested but wants me to get more information for her. I'd rather know if there are tickets still available before I get attached to the idea of going though!

No nights have sold out yet. I highly doubt the dates in September will sell out too.

And I just saw the thread about people without tickets "possibly" sneaking in the party and how Mk is closing at the same time the party is supposed to begin...wow that kind of stinks. The 15th would be the only day we could go..

We went to the MNSSHP last year in late September and it never sold out that night. You could buy tickets the day of the event. I think you will be fine.

I ordered our tickets to MNSSHP 9/15 on the Disney.com site under "specialty tickets". I guess if they are sold out it would tell you if you added them to cart?

It's our 1st MNSSHP

Does anyone know if I were to order the tickets the day before we leave if we would just be able to pick them up at our hotel? I'm not sure if that would be enough time in advance to still get the discount for pre-purchasing them.

You can get the advance purchase price up until the day of the party. So you can get them right before you leave and do will call pick up or you can wait and buy them at WDW.

Thank you, that makes me feel A LOT better. I'll just wait it out then and if it sells out then it was just not meant to be for us. Hoping Disney changes a couple of things mentioned in previous threads and I also want to see if dh will be really into going.
I just discovered yesturday that the party would be starting during our trip as I had thought it wouldn't be till the end of Sept.

I'm planning on going Spet. 15 and haven't bought tickets yet because we are still trying to finalize plans...so I'm hoping there will be a couple left! I am sure their will be! Disney doesn't turn people away too often.

I called and talked to a cm tonight who told me they still had tickets for Sept 22nd. And that sept. rarely ever sold out. But that October was a different story. I don't know if this helps or not.

We changed our plans and are now going Oct. 19 and I just got our tickets last night!
