Is it too late for a PS?

Help. We leave in less then a week. I didn't read any posts about PS's so I didn't realize you need to make them WAY in advance. Is there any chance for me getting at least one, maybe two PS reservations yet? And if so, which restaurants are probably the least crowded, but still good food? I thought I remembered making reservations at Epcot years ago from our hotel when we got there. Can't guests do this anymore? Are there any cancellations? What should I do? Any advice from all you experts would be very helpful. Thanks.

DisBoards are the BEST!!!!

Don't fret! A PS at most Disney restaurants can be made even the day you are there. There are a number of popular restaurants, but usually only Cindy's and the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway (EPCOT) are difficult to get. You can probably still get a PS at most restaurants ... although you may not get your first choice of times.

My DW and I have gone during crowded times and gotten PS at restaurants in the parks after we entered the park -- same day. Just be flexible about times and places. If you can't get the time you want, try another day and time.

I'll bet you won't have much trouble having a terrific time experiencing Disney dining!

it is a busy time of year just now. Spring break has begun. Just call 407-WDW-DINE and ask for PS where you want it.

There will still be seats available. I have waited until the day of ... but you risk eating at 3 in the afternoon or someplace that might not be right in your top 10 choices.

Don't delay call now.

It's worth a try. We are leaving next week and I was still able to get a few PSs week before last. It might be easier to get a PS at one of the resort restaurants as opposed to one of the parks. Also I've heard Marrakesh at EPCOT is usually not too busy; we ate there last year and enjoyed it. Also, if you don't mind eating at 'off' hours, you probably won't have too much trouble. Good luck!

The ONLY PS we've ever made ahead of time was for Cinderella's Breakfast. Everything else we call the day before or the day of - and sometimes have walked right up at lunch! We've never been Easter week so that might be a little harder - but I'm sure you'll be able to get just about anything you want. We've also never had a problem with getting a bad time.

You can definitely make priority seating from the phone in your WDW resort room. We do it a lot - mostly same day reservations. Have fun & travel safely!

I agree with everyone else. You can pretty much get seats for everywhere, maybe not the times you want. (With the expection of Cindy's, Princess Breakfast, Hoop Dee Doo, Aloha Spirit, and some of the restaurants that have views of the fireworks during Wishes or Illuminations.) But go ahead and make your PS now. It's better to have a PS and know you'll have a seat than end up with large crowds and no idea where you're going to eat. You might be surprised and get everything you want!

Good luck!

Thanks everyone. I feel better now. After reading all these posts about people making their PS 90 days in advance, I was worried. Thanks, and yes, I'm sure we'll have a great time.
