I need your help, please!! I know this is really last minute and one of the worst possible times to attempt to go, but we would really like our son's 7th birthday to be special. We are planning our trip on July 4th through the 10th arriving in the afternoon of the 4th. I would like to attempt something really special that night and then hit the parks hard the next day. Is it too late to do anything special? Should we cancel and plan for next year? His birthday is always hard to plan for b/c it's a holiday. Any help you can offer would be great!! :thumbsup2 Thanks again.

It is never too late to plan a trip.... Get your rooms and transportation to WDW booked and the rest will fall into place.

Personally, I would make it a total surprise for your son. I would not tell him until you were either boarding a plane or had left your state in a car. Check out all the areas of these boards and you will have the best planning advise in the world.

Keep us informed on your plans.

Why don't you call for a ADR at Chef Mickeys or Ohana and then plan to watch the fireworks from the Beach at the Poly? You're probably arriving too late to make it a park day.

Or try one of the Broadwalk/Beachclub resturants so you can see the fireworks by Epcot .

have fun!! :bday: :cake:
