Is it safe to leave in stroller?

We left everything except my purse and the cameras in the stroller. The girls custom made autograph books were in a small generic backpack in the stroller. I had no worries when we were there in April.

I wouldn't leave anything in a stroller (anywhere - DL or anywhere else) that I would be upset if it weren't there when I returned. DL may be the happiest place on earth, but it's still subject to reality and unfortunately there are always people who will take advantage of others.

Let me ask you this question: I do not have kids. Should I feel safe putting a backpack, my jacket, and a few random items (not in the pack) sitting on the ground outside of a ride/shop/restaurant?

Just because something is in a stroller does not mean it has some magical "no touching" force-field around it.

It it's important to you (for any reason), I would not leave it sitting around unattended (in a stroller or not).

We never, ever leave anything of any value in the stroller unattended. This means lugging a big bulky backpack on every ride, but it's worth it to us. A friend of mine recently went to DL and had their entire stroller (with recently bought merchendise in the bottom) stolen. When they reported it to Lost and Found, they were told that strollers are stolen every.single.day at the park.

A co worker of my DH's was at the park a week before us (so two weeks ago) and left his hat (just a regular ol' basball cap) in their stroller while on a ride, and when they got back, it was gone. Obviously that wasn't of much value, but it goes to show that there are dishonest people out there who will take pretty much anything, even at the happiest place on earth.

Disney is like anywhere and you have to treat it that way. Would you leave these things in public and walk away for 30 mins? Probably not and my answer for Disney would be the same
