You didn't wake up in time for the EMH morning? Will it be way too crowded? Should I not worry at all?

Does it depend which park it is? MK versus EP? AK versus MGM?

Just wondering since I have a park planned on those EMH morning but I have problems getting up - may have problems making it to normaly park opening :cloud9:

The biggest thing is a lot of the Fastpasses will be gone already. Also the lines will already be getting long. It's not that big of a deal IMO. If you're one of those people that like to get a jump on things before other people show up then you will be very frustrated. On the other hand if you are more laid back and work with what you've got as far as the crowd, you'll be fine.

JMHO, but I would avoid the EMH park, lines will be longer... not only from resort guests, but offsite guests also.

I think it would be more of an issue at MK. I wouldn't even bother going to MK if it's an EMH day and I couldn't get there for the early opening. MGM would be next on my list. It isn't quite as crowded on EMH days but it still gets congested once the park officially opens to all. DAK and Epcot don't seem to be as impacted by arriving late for EMH. Yes, FPs will be pretty much gone at all the parks but it is still bearable at DAK and Epcot.

We were at WDW at Easter and actually got up early to be at EMH at MK, but missed the whole hour because a bus never showed up to take anyone to MK from AKL... :confused3

But...we got there at 8 and were still ok. The park didn't really get crowded until around 10-11.

My experience in the past has been to get there, knock out a few of the major rides and then leave. Go to another park. I hate lines, so I am quite satisfied to walk away from something I'd really have to wait for and come back when I don't. At MK, we knocked out three or four of the biggies before regular hours; then the pressure is off.

My plan has always been to go to EMH do as much as I can in the way of the major rides and hop over to another park when it starts getting crowded (and pick up as many FPs as you can before you leave, to use later if you return . Of course, this only works if you have PH, if not, I would avoid the EMH park. :cool1: :cool1:

I've read a couple of your threads, you are doing an excellent job of planning yourself, and isn't this a great place to do it? Especially when all those little worries pop into your head!

I would agree with the post that it starts to get busier at around 10-11, we arrived at the parks most days at that time last trip, and found ride waits were starting to creep up (our fault, too many late nights!) Again in agreement, I think it's MK where that is particularly true. If you are staying on site (I don't think you specified, so sorry if this info is no hellp!) The Disney resorts have those great wake up calls (you can have Mickey phone you up!) if you need an extra reminder. If you can aim for only one EMH morning (as a resort guest) I would go for the MK one.

Have a wonderful trip...
