Is it really gone?

I heard that Imaginum (the Living Statues) are gone from World Showcase - is that true? I'm so sad if it is! 5 years ago we had the sweetest experience with a wonderful female performer. My DD then 2 was fascinated and walked right up to her. With a full crowd, the statue hugged Katie. When Katie hugged her back and kissed her cheek, the statue actually opened her eyes and smiled at her! We have wonderful pictures, but I would be so disappointed to never see them again! I have always loved that show - we have not done much of World Showcase the last couple of years, so I didn't realize. :sad2:

Yeah, it's sad, they are gone. Their contract was not renewed. They are now over at Busch Gardens. Maggie

They were the best, weren't they? :thumbsup2

I miss them too! :( It was so wonderful to see them interact with people, especially when people didn't realize that they were real! :rotfl2:

1) Alas, they are truly gone.
2) They were so popular, they wanted (can you believe it?) more money.
3) Disney did not want to pay more.
4) Poof!
5) Contract was not renewed, so they moved.
6) Same thing with Nova in Italy.

7) That's not really the whole story.
8) Disney did offer a contract renewal but they and the troup couldn't agree on terms.
9) So the troup and Disney parted company.

Where can they be found at Busch Gardens? Are they there all the time or just seasonal?
