Is there any place on the Member site that shows if your banked points are used first?
In other words, I can see on my activity statement and contract details that I banked points into a particular contract, then some points were used from that contract for a ressie.
Problem is, I can't see if that ressie was booked using the banked points, or the regular alloted points..

Is there any way to see which are used??

MG I think if you knew how many banked points you had before the ressie, then you can. You go to My membership, then Vacation Points. Then you need to look at each contract details for the year. In that list shows how many points banked in and how many points banked out. It is not easy but can be done.

Not sure but if you look close, you may see multiple entries for the reservation. For example, say you banked 50 points, then made a reservation that required 86 points.

If you see two transactions for the reservation, one for 50 points and one for 36 points, then you can pretty much deduce which points were used.

I haven't made a reservation using banked points in quite awhile, so I can't check my own account to see exactly how they phrase the reservation. I believe it's all under the same confirmation number so you can't tell just from that.

It gets a little more complicated if you're using points from different home resorts. Also, if you have multiple contracts at the same resort, the report can get more complex as there will be an entry for the number of points used from each add-on. It may be tough to ascertain exactly what points came from which add-on.

Just call MS and ask them to review your account. I did this just yesterday. The last Adviser that made a reservation for me took a few points from different places and I couldn't figure out from where or why.

One possible way to check may be to see how many points are available in the next use year to bank. For instance, if you banked 100 points to a 200 point contract. and used 200 points for a reservation, then there should be 100 points cueently showing for the next use year as "available to bank" even though your use year hasn't started yet. Of course, you can't actually bank until the use year starts, but it would be a way to see which points were used.

Chuck S, that's a good idea. A little round-a-bout, but it just may work...

The last 3 times that I booked with MS they told me they where using my banked points first.
