Is it possible?

we are planning a trip to Aulani May 2017. My parents already booked an ocean view one bedroom villa. My family will be booking our room with a cast member discount on Wednesday. Even with the very nice discount I am not sure I want to spring for an ocean view and would like to book a pool view (2 bedroom villa). My question is this, is it possible to at least be in the same building as my parents? I tried looking at the view diagram post but I just can't figure it out. We don't mind if we are on different floors or anything, but would like to at least be in the same building. I know they can't guarantee it anyway I just want to know if it is possible.

FWIW, it's all one "building" but there are two different wings - Ewa tower and Waianae tower. If you link your reservations together and have the request noted that you'd like to be in the same tower, your chances are good. And if for some reason you end up in different towers, you don't have to exit the building to walk over to the other tower. They connect on floor 3, where the lobby is. In fact, we stayed in the Ewa tower but I had to use the Waianae tower for laundry (Ewa laundry was out of order). Not a far walk.

Yep, it is super confusing trying to figure it out from the view diagram post! From what I gathered this last trip hotel rooms are in the Waianae tower and villas are in Ewa. This last trip we booked a 1 bedroom villa and a standard hotel room (not knowing we would be split up in different towers). However, the front desk cast members are amazing and will go to great lengths to shuffle you around if needed. We ended up paying an extra $50 a night during check in to go from a hotel room to a 1 bedroom villa (both partial ocean view) and got both our villa rooms on the same floor. I thought it was a good deal!

Friends of our stayed in a villa in the Waianae tower last trip. Not sure how the room configurations are set up, but it's my understanding there are hotel rooms and villas in both towers.

There are villas and standard rooms in each of the towers
