Is it possible mickeys very merry Christmas party could start Thursday November 5th in 2015? We leave on a cruise on the 6th and we get back on a Monday and they don't have them on Mondays I have read.

Not very likely. This past year, the first party was that Friday, and it was the same way the year before. So unless they depart from what they have done recently, I doubt it will start that Thursday. However, they did have one that Monday this year, so that could happen.

I am betting the first 2015 Christmas Party will be Friday, Nov. 6.

Like the pp said, first one will likely be Nov 6th. They did have one on that following Monday in 2014, and I would think it is highly likely they will again in 2015.

I believe the scheduling that weekend is in part due to the wine and dine half marathon. If they did parties on Fri and Sun as they usually do, those who come for the marathon would not have one full day in MK (as that marathon takes place Saturday night, and runners need to report around 8pm). Having the party on Monday allows the runners to have a day that they can go to MK where MK is not closing early.

I hope they still have one on that Monday. That would be perfect. We have never been there for a party and we always wanted to.

As others said, the first party of 2014 was Friday, November 7th. The second one was Monday, November 10th. We were at WDW for the Wine and Dine 1/2 Marathon that weekend, and left MK early both nights due to the party and not having tickets.

OP- I don't know for sure if the 11/10/14 party sold out. I know the 11/7 one did sell out - and I'm pretty sure it sold out before we arrived on property - but I'm not sure about 11/10.
