is it possible to upgrade room when we arrive?

We traded an RCI week for a studio at BWV in May. Is it possible to upgrade when we get there to a 1 bedroom? I'm still trying to see if I can just change it through RCI (they had bigger units available but not for May) but nothing so far and I'm pretty sure it won't happen. Can I call and ask about upgrading, who would I call? This is all new to me

There are no upgrades with a DVC reservation. To go from a studio to 1BR you would have cancel what you have and make a new reservation/exchange.

Your only option is through RCI and you'll have to pay another exchange fee though it's worth it for the larger unit. You also can't change the room type of view in any way.
