Is it possible to put 10 at a table at Teppan Edo?

We love Teppan Edo and would love to show it off to our family when we do a Grand Gatherings vacation in April. However, we don't want to break the party up and we will have as many as 10. Do you think they can squeeze in that many, if 2 of them will be children ages 6 and 4? Just wondering... :surfweb:

You would probably get the best and most definitive answer to this by calling Teppan Edo directly and asking. Unfortunately if I google it everything I get has the WDW-DINE phone number on it. You might try calling WDW-DINE and asking them to connect you to the restaurant directly (I think it's doubtful that the dining line would be able to definitively answer this question)

When we were there 2 yrs ago there were only 8 chairs at our table/grill. I'm not sure if this helps.

That is correct, the usual table capacity is 8. This group apparently does not want to split up between two hibachis.

Good answer- I'll try that :) Thanks! :thumbsup2

The tables at Teppan Edo are designed for only eight chairs. Even if they were to be able to put chairs diagonally at the two corners there would not be room on the table surface for the extra plates.

And if you call 407-WDW-DINE you will get a location in Orlando, Tampa, Houston, Salt Lake City or somewhere in North Carolina. They are on a system where they cannot connect you directly to any restaurant; you would have to go through the WDW Main Switchboard.

We had dinner there last week. (Christmas night) As others have stated, the tables are set up for 8.

We had a party of 10 including a 15 year old, 11 year old, 10 year old, and 8 year old on Wednesday of Thanksgiving week. We all sat at one table, although I was told when I made the ADR that they could not guarantee that we would not be split.

The table was set for 2 at each end and 6 opposite the chef. Worked out just fine.

Thanks! We have eaten here before just DH and I so I knew that it was set up for 8. I also think our 2 little boys would fit on the diagonal ok. I just wondered if they would allow it. Thanks for your response!
