a studio at BWV or BCV in October at the seven month mark? We are probably going to try to go October 10-15, 2010. We have always wanted to go during F&W and I know that is a very popular time for us DVCers and studios are the first to go, I think I am answering my own question. BLT is a new wild card in that equation though, hop on the monorail and be at Epcot in no time as well.

I called at 7 months out at 9:00 am and got a studio at BCV from Oct. 2-6, 2009. We love Food and Wine Festival and wanted to stay at BCV. There is hope! Only three weeks left for me!

Yes, it is possible. We've done it before. Just be sure to have a back-up reservation at another property if you need to wait-list BCV.

Yes, it is very possible if you are OK with a Pool/Garden room at BWV. Just call as soon as your window opens - the available space does go quickly.

BCV seems to be a little more difficult, but that is not impossible, either.

That said, I think 2009 has been a bit unusual. Everything at 7 months seems to be a little easier. Not sure if it is the BLT/AKV effect or the economy. Might be a combination of both. I do expect booking difficulty to return to normal as the economy improves, though.

I got a standard view studio at BWV for the last weekend of October this year at just about 3 months out. Had to waitlist for Sunday night the 1st, but it came thru a few weeks later. I, too, am visiting for F & W Fest and was just thrilled to get BWV. I was honestly expecting SSR or OKW to be my only choices.

Like you I called about 3 months out looking for a studio. They had a BWV one the week I was going(10/19) and if I went a week earlier I could have gotten one at BCV.

If I wanted to play around a bit with dates I could have gotten BLT, but I have somethings on my callendar so that wasn't possible.

Decided to go with VWL, since I stayed at BWV in January and I wanted to do some dining around the monorail/MK resorts.

I too was shocked, I thought all I would get was SSR or OKW, which of course were wide open for October studio availability.

All I can say is WOW, thanks for the encouraging news! We went to Vero Beach this year and also sent my son to Vero for his honeymoon. We are planning for Vero again this June and then to WDW next October. It'll be our first stay at WDW since June of 2008!! That's the longest stretch without a WDW trip in a very long time.
