Hi, my 2 year old is a really big eater and getting the dining plan would be a money-saver. Is it possible to get the dining plan for a 2 year old?

You would probably have to buy your 2 yr old an admission ticket also. Considering its $12 a day for DDP plus the ticket I doubt it would be a money saver. Your best option might be to eat at more buffets where child would have their own plate.

Good Luck.

when i called to ask i was told that they would need a park ticket too, definately not a money saver then :) i just figured DD and DS would share one, but oh well we'll figure it out :) good luck!

Dining Plan is only available as part of a package which includes room and Park tickets. All persons on the package must purchase the same type of tickets for the same number of days.

If you show your child as under three there will be no tickets needed and not included in the DP. If you state the child is between three and nine the child would be charged for and included on the dining plan and you would also have to purchase a child's ticket for the same number of days and same type (PH, etc) as the adult tickets.

You could do it and save the ticket for a future trip, but then again you could over the years misplace the ticket.

It may be cheaper to just pay out-of-pocket for the 2 yr. old. You can always share your appetizer and desserts if the child is still hungry.

We just returned from WDW 3 weeks ago and totally loved the dining plan. Our 2 year old - a huge eater, not picky, wants to try everyting - was well fed off of our plates. You get a lot of food on the plan and everyone was full after each meal. You can always order another appetizer or kids meal if it is not enough. Another option is to do the buffet meals - I just grabbed an extra plate for our DD and shared my meal with her. We loved the Crystal Palace breakfast and Chef Mickey dinner - totally getting our money's worth at each one. Enjoy!

When we were there in Dec. 05 on the ddp, all of my DS (then 2) buffet & table service meals were no charge. The only ones I paid for were counter service. It worked out well. Good Luck!!!
