Last year we bought a 7-day MYW park hopping no expiration without plus options, but only used 4 of the days. I have read that you can upgrade your ticket. If I went back for another 4 days, could I add extra days on to my original ticket and if so how does the math work? Do I figure out what the daily rate was and then consider that a credit towards my next park hopping no expiration without plus ticket?

I don't believe you can add more days after the ticket has been used.

What you can do with unused days on an old ticket is to apply the prorated price you paid for the unused days to a new ticket with all of the days you want on it and pay the difference.

However, depending on what you paid for the old tickets and whether you'll go back again sometime, it might be worth buying a 10-day non-expiring ticket so you can cover the extra days you need now and have days left over for a future trip......

If you won't go back, you'd have to look at what you'd pay for the 8-day ticket minus what yours is worth vs. paying for a new 4-day ticket to cover the days not covered by your current ticket........

How do you figure out the prorated amount for the old tickets?

Lets say I paid 280 for a 7 day ticket and used 4 days. Do I then just say that each day is 40 and figure out that I have a credit of 120 for the new pass?

We added a day onto our park hopper in Dec 2005. We originally purchased a 5 park hopper back in 2004 at our local Disney store with an advance purchase discount. We went up to the ticket counter and asked to add a day. It took 2 CM a few minutes to calculate how much to charge us, but the total for adding a day came to $29. Initally we were prepared to dish out $60 for a one day MYW ticket and were happy with the savings. I knew this trick by reading from allearsnet. Here is the link:

:sunny: you can add a day on to an existing pass as long as it is at least 1 day on it. If you have used up all of the days, then you can't.

I bought a 7 day MYW PH no expiration for $307. Let's say I wanted to add 3 more days: The 10 day MYW PH no expiration is $364. They would subtract what you paid from the upgraded ticket and charge you: $57. Prices are adv purchased from disney store or disneyworld website and include Florida sales tax.

I hope that makes sense.
