Good morning, everyone. It's a mere three days until we pile in the and drive a minimum 16 hours. to Port Canaveral.

Question: anyone interested in a live report from WDW starting Stunday? Have IPhone, will travel. But if no one's interested, I'll wait until I get back next week. Honestly, the best chance of a report from me is while I am on vacation. Who knows what abyss I might fall into once I return. Taxes, bills, wdw withdrawal....

I'd love to do it live for anyone who wants it.

I am under the gun...Even DH is wondering whether we will be rolling out of bed and into the car by 2am Wednesday.

I am on autopilot. As of yesterday I was making more changes to itinerary. We did the last reality check before cancellation fees can be applied. Cancelled a couple excursions then realized our vehicle wasn't quite large enough anymore.

Now I am faced with braiding hair (the two DD). This is NOT exciting. My daughters have lots and lots of thick hair and it's a process that takes hours. The end result is beautiful (and a time sime saver while on the trip because I don't have to comb hair everyday on the trip). Only so many hours. I need some serious

Now if DH would stop expecting me to work miracles by adding more and more to the list, we might actually roll into the car with him at 2am.

So the question is: why am I on the board instead of doing something to get us closer to our departure time? This is waaaayyyy more fun!!!!

I have relatives that I booked at WDW right now! They are staying at the GF for 3 nights...I can't believe my 14 month old Godson is getting to stay at the GF before me


Totally off topic but what else is new? I am upgrading to an I-Phone now that Verizon has it, any WDW (or Disney in general) apps? Preferably free ones of course, lol.

I ended up booking another WDW trip today! I was able to book BCV for the opening weekend of Food & Wine!

So I will have an AKV Jambo trip in August and then head back at the end of September for a long weekend at BCV.

....I strongly suggest that you advise her as to what to expect, or you'd better be prepared for DISASTER! Trust me - I speak from experience...

We have told her. I just hope she "gets it". KWIM? She called tonight and told me she took off work on Friday to get ready, so hopefully that will help us get off to a good start. She's used to working late at night and then sleeping in.

Letting them have the master is a good and generous thing to do!

I would encourage you to plan some time apart. If DMiL has a hard time getting going - it may make for some substantial stress! If you agreed up front that you'd schedule many things together and then indicated that they would be welcome to join you for RD every day, but if she wants to sleep in - that's OK too. The kicker is that she needs to be ready to go when the family is ready. This can work if you have cell phones. I find at Disney I have to put it on vibrate and wear it on my body - I just never hear mine! Best of luck!

There will be lots of together time, but it doesn't necessarily have to be all 6 of us together. They will basically go wherever we go, but if they're not ready when I am, I'm fine with heading for the bus by myself or with whoever is ready, and meeting up with everybody else later. I also tend to take off and go to DTD by myself at least once a trip for some solo retail therapy! I love my family, but I love them more when I can have occasional breaks from them!

I also booked today... we had the free dining code. DS wanted to do Daytona for 5 nights for his 16th. which is fine, but I knew Disney was around the corner. I talked DH into 5 nights, but we have to do Pop 2 rooms with all the teenagers... Grrr! Still thinking of cancelling my room and moving it over to AKL and have the kids meet us there each morning. DD's 18 right??

And to top it off DS picked all the wrong restaurants!! DH said we could sneak away and he would pay for me while they golf or do DTD!

I am still pretty scared about going back. I close my eyes and I can feel that Man pushing and hurting me from the back. And to make it worse DS wants to see Fantasmic!. DH is getting me a wheelchair that day and said I will be forced to stay in it during Fantasmic. I feel bad for anyone who may get a bit close to me during the show.

But I will be at Disney and because of this trip, the next one is now been trumped from Poly back to AKL. So It will be either Christmas or early spring at AKL for me!!
