Is it ok to use these...

going on first cruise next year, is it ok to buy a couple of plat Disney lanyards off ebay and use them?
Or do they sell them on Disney Fantasty, or where else can I buy a couple?
I know they have them on the Disney website, but as I am in Australia, the postage is too high.
My other thoughts are to order some just before we leave and send them to hotel, but they might be out of Sstock at the time.

You can use whatever you want for lanyards, so if you want to buy those feel free. People give theirs away frequently, so there are no rules regarding lanyards. They do sell lanyards on the ships as well.

I am not a big lanyard person, so just out of curiosity, why would you want to use a platinum one as opposed to silver? I just keep my key in my pocket.

The Castaway Club lanyards won't be given to you until your second cruise. The ones they sell in the shops are not cheap.

The DCL lanyards are back on stock on disneystore.com it looks like. I bought some last year for 7.95 it looks like they raised the price to 9.95. They are kind of nice has a little holder on them to put your id or money in if you are out and about off the ship.
